Mary-Ann Musangi received the Silver Warrior honor in recognition of her enduring legacy of community empowerment and her dedication to advancing sustainable practices in the manufacturing sector. Her unwavering commitment to uplifting MSMEs – particularly those engaged in sustainable production – has not only strengthened local economies but also created opportunities for vulnerable groups, including women-led agribusinesses, driving both social impact and economic progress. She has also championed shared-value business models that foster inclusive growth.

Cathrine Khasoa MSC, was honored with the Bronze Warrior Award for advancing the agenda of sustainable living within the real estate industry and championing the integration of green cover to restore ecosystems, create carbon sinks, and promote greenery as edible gardens and sustainable landscapes in real estate developments.

Susan Ng’ong’a was awarded the Gold Warrior recognition for her transformational leadership in advancing health access across East Africa. A pioneering force in emergency care, she has delivered life-saving medical services to millions, reshaped health policies, and strengthened national infrastructure.

Steve Njenga was celebrated with the Silver Warrior Award for his efforts in strengthening the internal systems of African nonprofits and social enterprises, enabling them to measure impact effectively and connect with funders, particularly African philanthropists. By empowering African changemakers to lead with their unique perspectives, harness Indigenous knowledge, and secure the resources and trust needed, Steve is helping them address their communities’ most pressing challenges with resilience and creativity.

Raphael Obonyo‘s recognition with the Bronze Warrior Award highlights his exceptional leadership and dedication to social impact, youth empowerment, and community development, which have made a profound difference in Kenya and beyond. His relentless advocacy has amplified youth voices, promoted education for disadvantaged youth, curbed criminal activities, and driven meaningful change. He has also fostered socio-economic stability for thousands of young people by creating employment opportunities in the informal Jua Kali sector.

We also awarded and celebrated David Ojwang‘s exceptional leadership and dedication to building sustainable livelihoods in the agri-food sector through innovative research and development. David has mentored hundreds of future agrifood managers and extension professionals, shaping the next generation of leaders in this critical field.

Esther Mutuma‘s Gold Warrior Award is a testament to her leadership, commitment to environmental stewardship, and efforts that have inspired impactful reforestation initiatives at the grassroots level.

Bhekumuzi Dean Bhebhe‘s Silver Warrior Award recognizes his leadership and advocacy for clean energy alternatives to address climate challenges and empower African communities.

Oscar Obonyo‘s Bronze Warrior Award celebrates his leadership, advocacy, and sustainability commitments that have transformed businesses toward climate and environmental action.

Walter S. Odhiambo‘s recognition as a Gold Warrior highlights the profound impact of his work, which has created brighter futures and empowered countless young people to thrive. His leadership in designing, leading, and influencing advocacy and programmatic initiatives that promote safer, high-quality child and youth care and welfare in Kenya is greatly celebrated.

Martha Sunda‘s Silver Warrior Award highlights her commitment to championing child protection and pioneering initiatives and programs that promote digital literacy and responsible online engagement for children and caregivers. She has been at the forefront of combating online child exploitation and technology-facilitated gender-based violence.

Peninah Ndegwa was honored for her commitment to championing the establishment of child-friendly cities where children can thrive and actively participate in city planning. We celebrate her for bringing to the fore the significance of designing child-friendly urban spaces by focusing on safety, accessibility, play, and learning.

Warriors for Good Award in the Gender Equality and Women Empowerment category celebrated individuals advancing gender equality and empowerment of women and girls in their organization, sphere of influence, and/or programmatic work:


Teresa Njoroge was honored with the Gold Warrior Award for her transformative leadership and dedication to restoring dignity, hope, and economic independence for marginalized women and tackling the stigmatization and systemic challenges faced by incarcerated and formerly incarcerated women in Kenya.

Catherine Kiama was awarded the Silver Warrior Award for her impactful leadership and organizational development that has ensured the promotion of equal rights for women and girls.

Joseph Etyang‘s Gold Warrior Award recognizes his experience as a disability inclusion advocate, championing policies that improve healthcare access for PWDs. He was celebrated for leading initiatives that address mental health, non-communicable diseases, and sexual reproductive health for youth with disabilities, fostering awareness and access to essential services.

Mary Wang’ang’a‘s Silver Warrior Award highlights her disability inclusion advocacy major through assistive devices distribution; donating mobility devices including walkers, wheelchairs, white canes, walking sticks, and children’s wheelchairs across Kenya, South Sudan, and Somalia.

Linda Okolo-Maruti’s (M.A)‘s Bronze Warrior Award celebrates her impactful commitment to ensuring disability mainstreaming in the workplace and society. She has provided opportunities for PWDs to gain valuable work experience and mentorship to enhance their career prospects.

Ann Irura Anita was honored for her passion and commitment to breaking down barriers and providing a supportive environment that empowers persons with disabilities to train, play, and excel in the game of golf.

The Warriors for Good in Sustainable Cohesion and Peace Award celebrates visionaries championing a more just, peaceful, and sustainable world.


Ven. Canon Amb Scholar Wayua Kiilu received the Gold Warrior for Good Award, while Naomi Mwelu Kilungu G. was honored with the Silver Warrior for Good Award, in recognition of their extraordinary contributions to:

Valeria Santoro‘s impactful leadership and work have empowered grassroots leaders across East Africa to combat inequalities in health, education, and gender. She was celebrated with the Gold Warrior accolade for initiating community-building activities, partnerships, and skills development through community-led approaches.

Grace Naserian, a Silver Warrior for Good champion, has worked in Kajiado County facilitating the capacity building of Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) to address power dynamics, empower girls and women, engage men and boys, and integrate Human Rights Approaches and intersectionality into their interventions. Her strategic approach and use of media to amplify community voices to drive positive change and inspire others in the fight for gender equality and empowerment of adolescent girls is admirable.

Asher Mwirigi‘s Bronze Warrior recognition highlights her work that has exemplified the power of tailored, community-driven projects that meet specific needs and empower individuals.

Awesti Rita‘s was awarded in this category for her exceptional dedication to sustainable development and community empowerment, and for using her platform to advocate for environmental conservation, youth empowerment, and social equity.

Warrior for Good Award in Community-Led Development; presented to community-focused organizations, grassroots movements, and local initiatives that empower communities by fostering local leadership, enhancing capacity, and driving inclusive development.


COPICAD CBO, an organization based in Nyandarua County, Kenya, received the Gold Warrior for Good Award for demonstrating exceptional commitment to community-led development and restoration efforts by empowering local communities to take charge of their growth and sustainability. Their innovative programs have facilitated access to clean water, improved education, supported livelihoods, and fostered self-reliance and resilience.

United Kenya Rising was celebrated with a Silver Warrior for Good Award for its initiatives that address the holistic needs of vulnerable families in Kakamega and Vihiga counties. Their programs have increased school graduation rates, improved farm productivity, provided financial literacy and technical skills, enhanced home structures, advocated for better health outcomes, and contributed significantly to the prosperity and well-being of the communities in Western Kenya.

Awake Youth Initiative was celebrated for working to transform youth livelihoods and leadership in marginalized communities, for providing access to quality education to young children, and for leading youth programs that bridge the gap between young social entrepreneurs and key stakeholders, giving them a platform to voice their issues and demonstrate their grassroots achievements.

Warriors for Good in Technology Innovation and Digital Inclusion; presented to organizations and initiatives that harness cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions to address complex challenges and improve lives. They push boundaries by leveraging digital services or products to create scalable, sustainable, and inclusive solutions that positively impact the environment and society by increasing access to education, healthcare, economic opportunities, and other essential services.


Oracle Academy’s digital transformation program, which aims to bridge the skills gap, enhance career readiness, and create opportunities in high-demand fields for Kenyan students and youths, was recognized with the Gold Warrior honor. The program focuses on computing education that has empowered Kenyan students to drive efficiency, productivity, and innovation across sectors while accessing higher-paying jobs in the digital economy.

iZola.life was honored with the Silver Warrior Award for its dedication to revolutionizing caregiving for special needs children, specifically neurodivergent children and their families, using compassionate AI to simplify their health journey.

Konexio Africa received the Bronze Warrior for Good Award for its digital inclusion programs, which provide underserved communities, including refugees and unemployed youth, with the tools to integrate into the digital economy.

CWE-TECH was recognized and celebrated for working to close the gender gap in technology and for creating a more inclusive and innovative technological landscape that can generate a positive socio-economic outcome for women, girls, and youth.

Warrior for Good in Employability and Job Creation Award; presented to organizations that have actively addressed unemployment, skill gaps, and economic inequality by offering training, mentorship, and job creation strategies that lead to long-term socio-economic empowerment.


Haco Industries Kenya Limited was celebrated with a Gold Warrior Award for its outstanding commitment to decent work and economic growth. The company has demonstrated remarkable leadership by balancing business growth with employee welfare while creating extensive indirect employment opportunities. Through its innovative local sourcing strategy, Haco empowers 35,000+ farmers (primarily women) across four Kenyan regions and supports numerous SMEs. The company further drives sustainable employment through partnerships with eco-conscious startups like Progreen Innovations, creating 15 permanent jobs and supporting a network of 115 waste-pickers.

CFK Africa was honored with a Silver Warrior Award for tackling unemployment through their TechCraft project that equips young people with hands-on trades (via NITA-accredited apprenticeships) and digital skills (through its Digi-Hub) while fostering financial literacy and entrepreneurship. The project bridges the digital divide, aligns training with market demand, and transforms lifetime earning potential for vulnerable youth and their families.

 Warrior for Good Award in Environmental Action; presented to organizations and initiatives demonstrating exceptional commitment to addressing environmental challenges and advancing sustainability.


The Green Africa Foundation received the Gold Warrior recognition, highlighting the organization’s commitment to engaging communities in sustainable environmental conservation, natural resource management, food security, policy advocacy, and social integration through peace-building, ethics, and moral probity. Its “Plant Your Age Initiative” encourages individuals and organizations to plant trees corresponding to their age or significant anniversaries, fostering a culture of sustainability and ecological responsibility.

CHD Conservation Kenya‘s community-centered conservation efforts that address urgent environmental issues such as deforestation, human-wildlife conflicts, and climate change were honored with a Silver Warrior recognition.

The work of the Wildlife Clubs of Kenya was honored with a Bronze Warrior recognition for rallying the youth to participate in various conservation activities like tree planting and environmental awareness events, which have significantly contributed to the preservation of Kenya’s rich biodiversity and fostered a culture of conservation among future generations.

Boreka Group was celebrated and honored for its extensive work that catalyzes climate action and improves livelihoods through collective community action and the use of technology to promote nature-based solutions for climate change mitigation and adaptation.

TakaTaka Ni Mali received the Gold Warrior honor for its dedication to strengthening connections within the waste management ecosystem by linking solid waste generators, users, and recyclers. It was celebrated for leading the efforts to create a world where waste is effectively managed and transformed into valuable resources, promoting environmental sustainability.

Haco Industries Kenya Limited was honored with a Silver Warrior for Good recognition for its groundbreaking “Chasing Zero” initiative, which is revolutionizing sustainable manufacturing through circular production, achieving Zero Waste by recycling 21% of packaging (scaling to 100%) and diverting 18Mt of plastics monthly via in-house recycling and conversion of non-recyclables into low-carbon poly-diesel through its Progreen Innovations partnership. The company also has an Extended Producer Responsibility program that recovers packaging from consumers and retailers – all while leveraging agricultural inputs like coconut oil as regenerative resources to prove environmental stewardship and business growth can thrive together.

Oracle and Oracle Academy were honored for advancing CSR and sustainability in Kenya by equipping youth – especially women – with cutting-edge tech skills through university partnerships. Their program upskills 3,000+ students annually, fosters women-led STEM initiatives like Zetech University’s Digital Divas.

Critical Mass Nairobi was recognized for promoting sustainable mobility, fostering a cycling culture, and advocating for safer, more inclusive streets in Nairobi and beyond. The organization strives to create a greener, healthier, and more connected city through initiatives like monthly community rides, the Toto Mass strategic plan for child-centered urban mobility, the Kenya Cycling Women empowerment program, Nairobi Bike Trains for safe commuting, and the Kenya Cycling Soko digital marketplace.

Warriors for Good in Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment; organizations dedicated to breaking down gender barriers and making gender equality a working reality. Awardees in this category champion women’s leadership through targeted training, mentorship, and support, empowering women to take on key roles in business, governance, and community development.

SUPAMAMAS was honored for creating a support system for working mums to thrive as parents and mumpreneurs, breaking the stigma around balancing work and family life, and encouraging women to speak openly about their struggles and seek help when needed.

Lady Askari Limited was celebrated for redefining the role of women in the security industry by providing high-quality security solutions and promoting the advancement and capacity-building of women in this traditionally male-dominated field.

Dandelion Africa was recognized for fostering a supportive environment for women’s leadership, breaking down deep-rooted gender barriers, and creating sustainable pathways for women’s inclusion in policy and community development.

The United Women Empowerment Programme – Africa was honored for transforming the economic, health, and social well-being of women by building individual agency and group social capital through savings, business, health, and women’s rights promotion.

The Federation of Kenya Employers’ Female Future Leadership Program was recognized with the Bronze Warrior Award for impacting gender equality in the workplace by empowering women in mid-to-top-level management positions across various sectors with leadership skills, self-confidence, and strategic decision-making capabilities, enabling them to break through glass ceilings and secure higher-level leadership roles.

She’s the First was honored with the Silver Warrior Award for its significant investment in girls’ education and mentorship programs, particularly its impactful work with girls from oppressed backgrounds who come from historically marginalized communities.

The Kianda Foundation was honored with the Gold Warrior Award for ensuring that women and girls in Kenya have equal access to educational opportunities, technical training and hands-on industry experience, socio-emotional support, and mentorship.

Warriors for Good in Building Sustainable Livelihoods; organizations and initiatives implementing capability-building programs for poor, vulnerable, and marginalized populations; enabling them to acquire the necessary assets to engage in and sustain thriving livelihoods that improve their socio-economic conditions.

World Relief Kenya received the Gold Warrior Award for its transformative impact, going beyond short-term aid and empowering communities with the tools, knowledge, and resources to thrive long-term. Their shift from emergency food distribution to climate-smart agriculture and livestock programs has strengthened resilience for 2,300+ individuals in Turkana – turning survival into sustainability and laying the foundation for self-sufficient farming, ensuring families can withstand future shocks. WRK’s sustainability programs intertwine health, economic stability, and community ownership.

The Optiven Foundation‘s Silver Warrior recognition highlighted their Go Green na Optiven program, a youth-focused initiative that combines tree planting with climate education, agroforestry training, and ecosystem restoration. donating thousands of trees to schools across 15+ counties to promote environmental conservation aligned with SDGs 13 & 15.

Haco Industries Kenya Limited was honored with the Bronze Warrior Award for its transformative impact on Kenya’s agricultural sector. By prioritizing locally sourced natural ingredients for its skincare lines, Haco has empowered over 35,000 smallholder farmers and women-led SMEs, creating sustainable value chains that benefit rural communities.

The Bough Foundation received the Best Finalist recognition for its work that embodies compassion, hope, and sustainable development advanced through the provision of nutritious meals to homeless individuals, support for school children that has increased educational opportunities, small business loans that have empowered entrepreneurs, and the Wells of Hope project that has granted access to clean drinking water, reduced waterborne diseases and enhanced quality of life.

Warriors for Good in Education Access and Equity; organizations driving transformative change in underserved communities. Recognized initiatives break down barriers through innovative programs that boost enrollment, improve learning quality, and promote gender equity. From scholarships to mentorship and job-linked apprenticeships, these solutions create lifelong opportunities while addressing systemic educational disparities:

For their interventions that have boosted retention, learning quality, and long-term outcomes that have helped vulnerable children break the cycle of poverty through education, CFK Africa was honored with the Gold Warrior Award. CFK Africa’s Best Schools Initiative (BSI) tackles educational inequality in Kibera, where only 40% of children access public schools. By partnering with 47 informal schools, BSI provides teacher training, student meals, and attendance incentives – reaching 11,000+ students.

The Kilgoris Project was honored with the Silver Warrior Award for its commitment to educating and caring for school-aged children and ensuring they are healthy and ready to learn. TKP was celebrated for its holistic approach that includes health programs, nutrition, and local economic initiatives, which have impacted the lives of over 2,100 children and helped them build promising futures.

The Education For All Children (EFAC) received the Bronze Warrior recognition for its commitment to providing education and life skills to bright but financially disadvantaged children in Kenya. EFAC has empowered students to break the cycle of poverty and become leaders in their communities by offering scholarships, mentorship, and leadership training, ensuring that students excel academically and develop essential life skills and career readiness.

The Kenya Education Fund (KEF) was honored for its transformative force in education and equity, providing scholarships and educational support to disadvantaged students across Kenya. KEF has ensured that 98% of the students it supports successfully transition from high school to university, empowering them to break the cycle of poverty and contribute positively to society.

Oracle Academy was also feted in this category for bridging the digital divide by providing free tech education resources to educators in marginalized areas and equipping students with in-demand skills in cloud, AI, and data science.

Warriors for Good in Humanitarian Action & Services; organizations that deliver essential support to vulnerable communities facing crises, providing swift and effective humanitarian assistance that prioritizes dignity, respect, and the specific needs of those affected.

The work of the Kenya Red Cross, which comprises responding to emergencies, reducing suffering, and implementing community-driven programs in disaster management, health, youth development, and support for vulnerable groups, was recognized with the Gold Warrior Award.

World Relief Kenya (WRK) was also honored for being a key humanitarian actor in Kenya, delivering life-saving assistance and strengthening community resilience, particularly in disaster-prone regions, combining emergency relief with sustainable resilience.

Warrior for Good Award for Best Social Enterprise, for organizations and initiatives committed to delivering a specific social and/or environmental purpose, using business solutions to build a fairer society and a more inclusive economy.

Drop Access Limited received the Gold Warrior recognition for its focus on providing affordable, practical, and reliable cold chain solutions to rural, off-grid, and underserved communities. We celebrate Drop Access for innovating Vaccibox, a portable IoT-enabled and solar-powered healthcare refrigerator that has improved vaccine storage and reduced spoilage, providing healthcare workers with a dependable means of transporting temperature-sensitive medicines.

Hewatele Limited received the Silver Warrior honor for its commitment to ensuring the availability and affordability of medical oxygen for all needy patients. Hewa Tele’s mission to provide a regular supply of medical oxygen at affordable rates has significantly reduced delays in access to emergency healthcare.

Kono Farm Enterprises was honored and celebrated for empowering communities and women entrepreneurs with innovative snail farming projects, improving their financial independence, and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.

Warriors for Good in Health Access and Innovation: organizations and initiatives that deliver long-lasting, innovative health solutions while addressing healthcare disparities and promoting affordable healthcare.

Penda Health received the Gold Warrior recognition for making a significant impact on healthcare accessibility and affordability in Nairobi and beyond, focusing on underserved communities, and building a strong reputation for trust and satisfaction.

E-Plus Medical Services was honored with the Silver Warrior Award for playing a key role in advancing emergency healthcare in Kenya. The company is a leading provider of pre-hospital care and ambulance services with the largest fleet of over 128 critical care ambulances operating across all 47 counties to ensure swift, lifesaving emergency response nationwide.

CFK Africa was celebrated with the Bronze Warrior recognition for working to close the healthcare gap in Kenya’s informal settlements, where residents face poor nutrition, limited clean water, inadequate sanitation, and minimal access to care. By combining affordable services, strategic locations, e-health technologies, and community outreach, CFK empowers residents to take control of their health.

Warriors for Good in Mental Health and Well-Being: organizations and initiatives dedicated to improving access to mental health services, combating stigma, and providing vital therapy, counseling, and support to those in need.

Shamiri Institute received the Gold Warrior accolade for its dedication to transforming youth mental health by making mental healthcare accessible in underserved regions. The organization has instituted an innovative, community-oriented caregiving model that provides effective, brief, de-stigmatized, and evidence-based “low-touch” therapy within a tiered care model.

Youth Changers Kenya was awarded a Silver Warrior recognition for championing mental wellness through a dedicated initiative supporting survivors of sexual violence with trauma-informed counseling, group therapy, and a structured toolkit for healing – helping survivors rebuild resilience, reduce anxiety and depression, and develop healthy coping strategies. YCK has also created ‘Mental Health Convos,’ a card game fostering open dialogue around mental health, reinforcing its commitment to breaking barriers and empowering communities.

Kamili Organization, founded in 2009 by Melanie Blake, was honored and celebrated for providing affordable and free mental health services in 44 out of 47 counties in Kenya. Their mission is to offer accurate diagnosis, treatment, and support to patients and their families, while also raising awareness about mental health issues.

Warriors for Good in Disability Inclusion: organizations championing disability inclusion, accessibility, and empowerment.

Circleg was honored with the Gold Warrior recognition for providing accessible, high-quality, and empowering prosthetic solutions for amputees.

The Action Foundation received the Silver Warrior recognition for working to end exclusion, discrimination, and violence towards children and youth with disabilities in marginalized communities.

Warriors for Good in Financial Inclusion; organizations ensuring the accessibility of financial services for underserved populations, increasing the level of support extended to small and growing businesses, tackling economic inequality, financial illiteracy, inequitable access to capital, commitment to closing the gender finance gap with targeted products for women-led enterprises, and overall affordability, effectiveness, and inclusivity.

The Micro Enterprise Support Programme Trust (MESPT) received the Gold Warrior recognition for promoting sustainable credit access, agricultural productivity, clean energy technologies, and market linkages for smallholder farmers and MSMEs. Their efforts have increased incomes for smallholder farmers, enhanced adoption of climate-sensitive practices, and strengthened financial inclusion.

MobiPay AgroSys Ltd received the Silver Warrior honor for enhancing farmers’ livelihoods with its innovative development of a secure payments platform designed to empower them by enabling access to essential financial services and conducting transactions through their mobile money wallets.

Warriors for Good in Children’s Welfare Promotion and Youth Advocacy; organizations and initiatives committed to protecting the rights, well-being, and development of children and young people.

Terre des Hommes Netherlands in Africa, with the Gold Warrior recognition for actively working to combat child exploitation, focusing on child sexual exploitation, child labor, child trafficking, and unsafe migration. They were honored for their collaborative work with communities, government, private sectors, and civil society organizations to address the systemic and structural drivers that expose children to exploitation.

SOS Children’s Villages in Kenya was honored with the Silver Warrior recognition for its transformative work in providing alternative care, family strengthening, and comprehensive support for vulnerable children and youth. Their work across 32 humanitarian responses and care for 69,000+ children demonstrates an unwavering commitment to creating lasting change for generations of Kenyan children.

Childline Kenya was honored with the Bronze Warrior recognition for pioneering work in child protection through Kenya’s only 24/7 national helpline (116). They were celebrated for providing critical psychosocial support, counseling, and vital referrals while building capacity among teachers, police, and judiciary to strengthen child safeguarding systems. Their innovative public-private partnerships with the Directorate of Children Services and community-based support initiatives have transformed Kenya’s response to child abuse and exploitation.

Warriors for Good in Governance and Civic Engagement: organizations dedicated to influencing public policy, promoting accountability, and amplifying citizen voices to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of public institutions.

The Emerging Leaders Foundation was honored with the Gold Warrior recognition for providing the youth with the skills and opportunities needed to achieve meaningful and impactful participation in governance, the economy, and public affairs.

The Hesabika Trust received the Silver Warrior honor for developing values-driven leaders for Kenya’s governance by providing young graduates with a platform for leadership development training, governance mentoring, and coaching, and enabling them to access internships in various government departments, parliament, counties, and constituencies.

Warriors for Good in Food Security and Improved Nutrition; organizations and initiatives that address critical gaps across food distribution, production, and nutrition, working to ensure everyone can access safe, affordable, and nutrient-rich food.


Community Sustainable Agriculture and Healthy Environmental Program (CSHEP) received the Gold Warrior accolade for promoting sustainable organic and bio-intensive gardening methods to improve production, earnings, food security, and environmental protection.

Rural Outreach Africa (ROA) was honored with the Silver Warrior Award for its transformative work in rural communities. By partnering with smallholder farmers, ROA tackles critical challenges like poverty, food insecurity, and limited access to healthcare and education. City Shamba received the Bronze Warrior recognition for educating, enabling, and empowering urban communities to practice urban agriculture. We celebrate City Shamba for creating localized food systems that provide access to sufficient, safe, nutritious, organic, healthy, and affordable food.

Warriors for Good in Human Rights and Equitable Livelihoods Promotion; organizations and initiatives dedicated to defending fundamental rights, addressing systemic inequalities, tackling gender-based violence (GBV), combating harmful practices such as female genital mutilation (FGM), and empowering individuals and communities to achieve dignity, accountability, and equitable opportunities.


Men End FGM Foundation (MEF) was recognized for pioneering a male-inclusive approach to ending gender-based violence, transforming attitudes through its award-winning advocacy and training programs.

Sauti Salama was honored for revolutionizing how GBV cases are reported and addressed through a mobile application, providing a comprehensive support system that includes anonymous reporting, legal aid, medical care, mental health support, and community resources, fostering a safer and more supportive environment for survivors.

The Youth Changers Kenya was recognized with a Bronze Warrior honor for its grassroots work combatting sexual and gender-based violence across four counties.

Awareness Against Human Trafficking (HAART Kenya) was honored with a Silver Warrior honor for providing holistic care and support to survivors of human trafficking and contributing to creating a trafficking-free environment in Eastern Africa.

The Reproductive Health Network Kenya received the Gold Warrior recognition for championing comprehensive sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights and implementing strategic interventions to improve maternal healthcare outcomes in Kenya.

Warriors for Good in Sustainable Peace and Cohesion: organizations and initiatives that foster a just, peaceful, and sustainable society by promoting social cohesion, community agency, and equal access to opportunity, combating harmful practices such as female genital mutilation (FGM), and empowering individuals and communities to achieve dignity, accountability, and equitable opportunities.



Safer Communities Alliance was recognized with a Bronze Warrior honor for leveraging AI and technology to build peace and safer societies. Through innovative training programs, the organization empowers leaders, supports ex-prisoners’ reintegration, and reduces recidivism.

UWEP-Africa was honored with a Silver Warrior recognition for training women in peacebuilding, developing ward-level peace leaders, and partnering with security/justice systems to strengthen communities. By linking microfinance with conflict mediation and GBV response, they create sustainable change at the intersection of development and peace

St. Paul’s University‘s Centre for Christian-Muslim Relations in Eastleigh (CCMRE) was celebrated with a Gold honor for transforming interfaith relations through innovative dialogue and peacebuilding initiatives. The center bridges Christian-Muslim divides through community mapping projects that reshape perceptions, educational programs addressing theological misunderstandings, and grassroots peacebuilding efforts. Their work has tangibly reduced tensions in Eastleigh while creating new models for interfaith understanding.

Hon. Prof. Ruth Oniang’o: Kenya’s first nutrition professor and sub-Saharan Africa’s pioneering female nutrition scholar, transformed academia, policy, and community health. Her groundbreaking work has also previously earned her the Silver Star Medal, Distinguished Service Medal, and FAO recognition—cementing her legacy as a nutrition icon who bridged research, governance, and grassroots impact.

Diana Carole Awuor, Ed.D.: She empowers cancer patients and survivors with education and community support.  Since completing her breast cancer treatment, Dr. Awuor embarked on feeding poor cancer patients undergoing infusion chemotherapy treatment in Kenya. This initiative has grown into two nonprofit organizations: Mindful Food Program Inc. and International Pleroma Convocation (IPC), which focus on feeding cancer patients and, respectively, educating children orphaned by cancer.

Dr. Abbas Gullet, MBS: he has revolutionized Kenya’s emergency response as the founder of E-Plus Medical Services (Kenya’s largest critical care ambulance network), transformative leadership at the Kenya Red Cross, and pioneering self-sustaining ventures like The Boma Hotels.

Bishop Daniel Ogutu: founded the Mathare Community Outreach, which has supported and given access to education for close to 17000 children since its inception. Today, it has produced thriving young people in different professions across the country and in different parts of the world.

Dr. Willy Mutunga: for his commitment to the social justice movement in Kenya. Even after serving as the first Chief Justice and President of the Supreme Court of Kenya under the new Constitution, he’s continued to champion social justice and inclusion of marginalized groups, including the youth.

Dr. George Wachiuri: transforming lives through Optiven Foundation, which empowers vulnerable communities through: Education & Job Readiness, Poverty Eradication, Health & Dignity (medical interventions and healthcare access), and Environmental Protection (conservation initiatives). Through Optiven Limited and its Foundation, his holistic approach bridges opportunity gaps while fostering dignity and sustainability across Kenya.
